Ms Cvijanovic was born in 1967 in Teslic where she finished elementary and high school. Higher education Ms Cvijanovic obtained at following universities: the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo, the Faculty of Philosophy in Banja Luka and the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka. Ms Cvijanovic is a Professor of English language and Literature and holds a Master degree in the field of diplomatic and consular law.
In her professional career, Ms Cvijanovic worked as a school professor of English language and literature, Senior interpreter and later as an Assistant to the European Union Mission in BiH. After that Ms Cvijanovic was appointed an Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska for European integration and cooperation with international organizations, then also as Head of the Republic of Srpska Coordination and European Integration Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister, as well as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska.
Ms Cvijanovic was a an Expert member to the Committee for European Integration and Regional Cooperation of the National Assembly of Republic of Srpska. Prior to being elected to the office of the Prime Minister, Ms Cvijanovic was a Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation in the Government of Republic of Srpska.
Ms Cvijanovic is married and mother of two children.
