19.08.2014

Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic opened this evening the International Children’s Folk Festival ‘Licidersko srce’ in Visegrad.
Prime Minister Cvijanovic said that this Festival was very important, that it had several   dimensions but  above all that it reflected good relations and cooperation of Serbia and Republic of Srpska.
‘I have always considered that children are the most important thing in life. Children are the best guards of tradition and this is the major part of this event. Children are here tonight linking art, culture, kindness, beauty, diversity and everything good in life and are therefore the best of people’, Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister Cvijanovic spoke with members of the ensembles from 10 countries, participants at the Festival, and wished them to feel good while they perform, to remain true to themselves and keep guarding the tradition and promoting everything that represents good values in our society and human society in general.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this was a good opportunity to establish friendships, to exchange experiences, to show their skills, to get to know each other and to understand how important we all are on this planet.
‘I think this Festival was very important also because of its cross-border dimension on one hand and on the other because it is the message that we are open, both Republic of Srpska and Serbia, and wish to host international guests and find pleasure together with them in this event“, Prime Minister pointed out and added that it was particularly important that this festival was taking place in Andric Grad where many cultural activities take place such as this one.
The Office of Republic of Srpska in Serbia had important role in organization and holding of this Festival.
