General Secretariat
General Secretariat of the Government provides assistance to the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the Prime Minister in terms of timely and effective planning, implementation, supervision and presentation of the Government policies.
General Secretariat is in charge of the joint service operations and provides for other activities needed in purpose of efficient performance of functions of the public administration bodies.
General Secretariat is in charge of drafting of the proposals for passing of decisions by the Government in accordance with operational plans of the Government and Government Secretariat, priorities of the Prime Minister and proposals submitted by ministries.
General Secretariat performs duties in domain as determined by the Law on the government of the Republic of Srpska and Operating Procedure of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
Secretariat of the Government of Republic of Srpska consists of the following basic organizational units:
• Office of the Prime Minister
• Sector for Government sessions
• Sector for financial, legal and general affairs
• Public Relations Bureau
• Sector for IT
