The main subject of today's meeting of the Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government Lejla Resic with the Head of Political and Economic Section of the EU Delegation to BiH, Jan Snaidauf, was the level of progress in the field of public administration reform and its harmonization with the requriements of the Euroepan Union.
“The Republic of Srpska made significant steps forward with regard to public administration reform with adoption of a set of laws including the Law on Civil Servants, Law on Public Administration; Law on Salaries and Law on Register Books. Enactment of those laws created conditions for more efficient, more economical and more transparent administration, which became particularly evident through introduction of electronic network system of register books throughout the Republic of Srpska”. Minister Resic said.
Minister Resic also emphasized that all afore mentioned was a good basis for further steps in the process of reforming the entire sector of public administration in the Republic of Srpska.
The meeting today was attended by Head of EU Delegation Office in Banja Luka Giulio Zanni and Political Advisor Katerina Kramesova.
