Numerous first prizes won at several international competitions were the reason for the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska Dr. Dane Malesevic to receive Radovan Ivanovic, a fifth grade student of “Vlado Milosevic” Music School in Banja Luka.
Ivanovic, who plays the accordion in professor Savo Covickovic’s class, has been winning only first prizes at competitions of young accordionists. He won competitions in the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kragujevac, Loznica, Pula, Castelfidardo (Italy)…
Minister Malesevic congratulated the young accordionist and his professor on their enormous achievement.
“Educators have the responsibility to work with talented students but that is also a privilege because those students’ achievement confirms the successful work of their teachers. The Ministry of Education and Culture will certainly, continue to support young talented people like Radovan Ivanovic“, said Minister Malesevic.
