Assistant minister for European
integration of the Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation of the Republic of
Srpska Radmila Dragišić is taking part in the annual conference Recent Trends
in the Case Law of the Court of Justice of the European Union, held from 30
November to 1 December 2017 in Luxembourg.
Organized by the European
Institute of Public Administration’s (EIPA) European Centre for Judges and
Lawyers, this year’s conference will review and comment on a selected number of
judicial decisions issued within the competence of the Court of Justice of the
European Union during the past 12 months. These judicial decisions are
significant in offering an interpretation on certain EU legal instruments for
the first time, and for giving a brand new meaning to the existing legal rules
by adapting or reexamining past jurisprudence.
The contents of this year’s
conference feature a presentation of Court’s recent decisions on free movement
of persons, citizen’s initiative, internal market and freedom of movement, recent
Court’s doctrine on the issues of trade policy, international agreements and
readiness to conclude them, and key decisions in other fields such as asylum, migration,
human rights, commercial law, environment, etc.
