The call for project proposals on Union civil protection mechanism has been launched, funded by the European Commission. The deadline to submit project proposals is 14 May 2020, by 17.00.
The call supports exercise projects aiming to design, plan, prepare, implement, conduct and evaluate different civil protection activities.
All kind of disasters inside or outside the EU can be depicted in the scenario for the exercises including forest fires, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, marine pollution, medical, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) and all other multi-sectorial emergencies.
This call is open to private entities, public entities, or international organisations.
The total budget for the call is EUR 3 500 000, with a maximum funding amount of EUR 1 million per project

The overall objective of the Mechanism is to strengthen the cooperation among Member States/Participating States in the field of civil protection in order to improve the effectiveness of system for preventing, preparing for and responding to natural and man-made disasters.
