Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, spoke today, Tuesday (23 January 2018) with Doina Bologa, representative of the United Nations Population Fund to Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNFPA).
The topic of the meeting was an overview of the previous successful cooperation between the United Nations Population Fund and Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation.
The Government of the Republic of Srpska is committed to continued collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund to BiH (UNFPA) on projects aimed at improvement of position of marginalized groups of population, older population, women and youth.
The line minister said that there was a good cooperation between the two parties and that it was necessary to maintain good relations in order to implement joint projects beneficial to all inhabitants of the Republic of Srpska and BiH.
On the other hand, the representative of the Population Fund informed Klokić about the current projects implemented in cooperation with institutions of the Republic of Srpska, and emphasized the satisfaction of all UN agencies and BiH Resident Coordinator in BiH with the active approach by the Government of the Republic of Srpska aimed at implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
