Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska Petar Đokić said that there was a considerable interest of the representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Republic of Srpska in the field of energy.
After today's meeting in Moscow with the Deputy Director of the Russian Energy Agency Алексеи Иванович, Minister Đokić stressed that there was an interest in supporting existing projects of Russian investors in the Republic of Srpska, as well as the possibility of new investments in the future.
The interlocutors agreed to organize a new meeting, probably in Banja Luka, aiming at concretization of cooperation.
They discussed the possibility of continuing research at locations with different kinds of minerals and raw materials, in which the Russian investors are interested and where the significant progress is expected.
Minister Đokić will attend tommorow a business forum in Moscow, which will be attended by respectable Russian companies and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.
'It is a good opportunity for us to exchange information on possibilities to cooperate, especially in energy, manufacturing industry and trade', said Minister Đokić.
