Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska Petar Đokić, together with the owner of the company Markus Strasser, Austrian Ambassador to BiH Martin Pammer and Director of the 'Mreža Network' Zoran Tošić opened today in Derventa the newly built production hall of 3,600 square meters of this company.
On that occassion, the Minister said that the company 'Mreža Network' was an example of the successful business operations, where foreign investor, together with local partner, had invested capital and provided an impressive development for 10 years of operation.
Minister Đokić expressed satisfaction that that day's event took place in Derventa, which in the past had been one of the most demolished local community.
'Investors are encouraged to invest in this region, and we will recognize what we have heard and incorporate it into the economic policy of the Government of the Republic of Srpska in 2016, with the aim to increase foreign investments,' said Minister Đokić.
The company 'Mreža- network' Derventa was founded in 2005 as a subsidiary of the Austrian company "NetQm GmbH". It has so far generated a turnover of around BAM 60 million and employed about 450 workers.
Austrian Ambassador Martin Pamer said Derventa was the successful local community in the Republic of Srpska and BiH, stressing that he is pleased to attend this event, which represents the expansion of the company's business and new job creation.
Director of 'Mreža - network' Zoran Tošić recalled that the company had had five employees five years before and that four manufacturing plants had been built since that period of time.
The ceremony was also attended by Minister of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska Predrag Gluhaković, Minister of Economic Affairs and Regional Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska Zlatan Klokić, representatives of 20 Austrian and German companies, local businessmen and many other guests.
