Minister of Finance of the Republic of Srpska, Zora Vidovic, spoke today in Banjaluka with Ms. Steliana Nedera, newly appointed United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Resident Representative. The meeting was also attended by Head of UNDP Office in Banja Luka, Goran Vukmir.
They discussed the implementation of joint projects, development directions and strategic priorities, in accordance with the Republika Srpska Economic Reform Program and UNDP plans.
Expressing mutual satisfaction with the implementation of joint projects, both sides especially focused on the projects Financial Mechanism for Support to Local Development Projects and Recovery from Floods - Housing Care in the Republic of Srpska.
Minister of Finance, Zora Vidovic, emphasized on this occasion that it is very important for the Republic of Srpska and its citizens to successfully implement development projects in the municipalities of Republika Srpska.
She added that with joint efforts there are 46 Projects approved so far, and that for the Republika of Srpska is even more important is the rehabilitation of numerous residential buildings and local infrastructure.
The newly-appointed UNDP Resident Representative emphasized that she is satisfied with the results coming from the field and that she expects a successful continuation of cooperation in accordance with the priorities of UNDP and the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
