Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković met in Stuttgart today (1 July 2019) with Deputy Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg and CDU Vice Chairman for Baden-Württemberg Thomas Strobl and Member of the Bundestag and Head of the CDU Innovation Group in Bundestag, Stefan Kaufmann.
At the beginning of the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged information on the current political and economic situation in the Republic of Srpska and Baden-Württemberg and stated that up to-date cooperation has been successful.
Prime Minister Višković emphasized that the relations with Baden-Württemberg were good and that this cooperation needed to be further strengthened economically since many German companies already have successful cooperation in Republic of Srpska.
Prime Minister Višković informed the Deputy Minister-President Strobl about the activities of the Government of the Republic of Srpska intended to increase competitiveness, improve the business environment, increase economy and new investments.
Deputy Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg and CDU Vice Chairman Thomas Strobl stated during the meeting that there were preconditions for German companies to cooperate and to invest in Republika Srpska as well as for improvement of overall relations between the Republic of Srpska and Baden-Württemberg.
Prime Minister Višković thanked the Deputy Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg Thomas Strobl and the Bundestag MP and the Head of the CDU Innovation Group Stefan Kaufmann for the opportunity to talk and foster good relations with the Republic of Srpska and the Serbian people living in Germany and invited them to visit the Republic of Srpska.
Mr. Strobl thanked for the meeting and for the invitation to visit the Republic of Srpska and commended cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
