Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković met in Ljubinje today with the Mayor of Ljubinje Darko Krunic and leadership of this municipality.
After the meeting, Prime Minister Višković said that Ljubinje was a small municipality and despite a modest budget did not have big loans which means that the municipal leadership acted sensibly in financial affairs.
The Prime Minister said that this municipality had a problem with water supply and that the project for construction of a water pump station for the water supply of this local community had been presented during today's meeting.
"The Government will provide around BAM 300,000 start construction of a water pump station as soon as the construction season starts and complete replacement of the pipeline will be done in in the next phase", Prime Minister Višković said and added that they also discussed the situation with regard to road infrastructure in this municipality whereas the worst situation was the road to Stolac.
With regard to the road to Stoalc, the Prime Minister promised he would look into this matter and do everything to make it a priority for reconstruction in the future.
The Mayor of Ljubinje, Darko Krunić, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Višković for his visit and stressed that this was the first Prime Minister's visit since 2011.
"We talked about numerous projects and priorities for the Ljubinje municipality such as water supply, alternative power supply, road infrastructure and I hope we have a full understanding of the Prime Minister for our problems that need to be addressed" Mayor Krunić said.
