Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković visited today the construction site where works on rehabilitation of the Trebinje - Ljubinje main road in the village of Maric Medjine near Trebinje take place.
Prime Minister Višković pointed out that the Government of Republic of Srpska intended to rehabilitate a significant part of main roads in Republic of Srpska in the forthcoming period and had provided a 200 million loan for that purpose.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the total road network in Republic of Srpska was around 4,000 kilometers out of which 1,700 kilometers were main roads.
"We want our network of main roads from Trebinje to Novi Grad to be rehabilitated and most importantly to make sure that the work is done properly and that the funds are not wasted", Prime Minister Višković pointed out.
The Prime Minister spoke with representatives of contractors who perform the works and stressed on that occasion how important the quality of the works performed was knowing also how difficult it was to raise funds.
Prime Minister Višković also spoke with the municipal authorities of the city of Trebinje on the spot and promised to come again to see the final works.
