Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković met today in his office with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to BiH and EU Special Representative in BiH, Ambassador Johann Sattler.
Prime Minister Višković emphasized during the meeting the commitment of the Republic of Srpska to European integration and apprised Ambassador Sattler about the 2020-2022 Economic Reform Program of the Republic of Srpska which had been created in accordance with the recommendations of the Opinion of the European Commission.
Prime Minister Višković reiterated that the Republic of Srpska was the first in BiH to fulfill its obligations with regard to the EU association process and stressed that it would continue to actively contribute to implementation of the activities related to the European path respecting at the same time constitutional competencies in BiH.
Prime Višković and Ambassador Sattler also talked about public administration reform, the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA 3) and business digitization as well as the forthcoming joint meetings and activities of the Governments of Republic of Srpska, the Federation of BiH and the Council of Ministers. It had been agreed that the ongoing reform processes and projects relevant for the improvement of the business environment and the standard of living of all citizens should proceed on partnership basis.
