Minister Klokić Spoke with UN Resident Coordinator in BiH


​The Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska, Zlatan Klokić, spoke today (12 June 2020) in his office with the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ingrid Macdonald.

Klokić wished successful work to the newly appointed Resident Coordinator at the beginning of her mandate, with the message to continue the excellent cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the UN in the future.

The meeting analyzed previous cooperation between the UN and representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Srpska, and discussed future cooperation in the context of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda, as well as the impending finalization of the next five-year UN-BiH Cooperation Framework (2021-2025).

Klokić, who is a member of the BiH-UN Joint Steering Committee, informed the Resident Coordinator about the projects and activities undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Srpska to recover from the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, and expressed his hope that activities would be undertaken together with the UN on that issue, all for the benefit of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska.
