In cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Ministry of Physical Planning, Civil Engineering and Ecology of Republic of Srpska has organised a Workshop “Implementation of ESCO model in the public sector in Republic of Srpska”, held on 19th January 2015 in Banja Luka, and under the Project „Regional Energy Efficiency Programme”.  Within the project activities, consulting company „Economic Consulting Associates“ from London has developed a proposal of ESCO model for Republic of Srpska presented at the aforesaid Workshop and a dialogue has been initiated with businesses, banks, public institutions and other possible participants on advantages and disadvantages of the model itself, as well as the possibilities of its application in practice.
