Prime Minister Designate Radovan Višković continued today consultations with regard to formation of the new government of Republic of Srpska
and met with the Rector of the University of Banja Luka Radoslav Gajanin and the Rector of University of East Sarajevo Milan Kulić.
During the meeting, Mr. Višković announced that the
future Government would continue with the reform of higher education system and
measures for further modernization of both public universities, including
intensive investments in infrastructure and measures to improve the
student’ standards.
Prime Minister Designate pledged the support of the new
government to the construction of the new building of the Faculty of
Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Banja Luka, while projects worth
20 million BAM are being implemented at the University of East Sarajevo including
the construction of the buildings of the Rectorate, the Music Academy, Students’
Home and the Faculty of Physical Culture.

harmonize the academic programs with the needs of the labor market and pointed
out that one of the measures could be the establishment of scientific
research centers where most successful students of both universities would be
engaged.
Both rectors thanked for the previous support of the
Government with regard to building of infrastructural capacities and other measures
that improve the position of students and expressed satisfaction with the Government program on employment of most successful
