ELECTRONIC WAY TO RESIDENCE DATA

Објављено:

The Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republika Srpska, Senka Jujić, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, Dragan Lukač, signed today in Banja Luka the Agreement on Electronic Data Exchange, which will allow the registry office to obtain information on a person's place of residence, instead of in writing and by mail, in a faster and simpler way - electronically.

"This Agreement will improve the cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska and the registry offices. Digitization of the aforementioned service is also of great importance for citizens because it will speed up the registration process in the registers and enable them to get the necessary documents more easily and quickly," said Minister Jujić, adding that this is a continuation of the successful cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, which started in previous years.

Minister Jujić reminded that the relevant Ministry and the Ministry of Internal Affairs jointly established an electronic exchange of data when determining the Unique Identification Number for newborn children, and in the readmission process, then sending notifications about the change of the spouse's surname after the conclusion of the marriage, as well as notifications from the death registers. Also, the "e-baby" project was realized together.

Planned activities related to the Agreement on Electronic Data Exchange will be implemented within the framework of available personnel capacities and without additional financial resources.
