​Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation Zlatan Klokić signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Srpska and the Al Matiya Investment company from the United Arab Emirates.

The Memorandum provides for cooperation in developing business relations and presenting investment opportunities in the Republic of Srpska to companies from the UAE and the rest of the world doing business in the Emirates.

The signing ceremony took place during the Al Matiya & Golden Eagles International Business Forum, which is being held in Dubai on 16-17 June. The Republic of Srpska was the guest of honor at the forum, which was attended by more than 100 business people and company owners from around the world.

Minister Klokić stressed the importance of signing the Memorandum, which, according to him, will enable organizing joint events to connect companies from the Republic of Srpska and the Emirates.

'While in Dubai, I got the impression that all those who have good intentions and want to cooperate with companies from the United Arab Emirates are welcome here,' said Minister Klokić after the signing.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Hasher Al Maktoum from the Dubai Emirate's ruling family opened the forum and Minister Klokić addressed the forum at the beginning and thanked for the honor of the Republic of Srpska attending the forum, and presented the stimulating conditions for investment and doing business in Srpska.
