Branka Malesevic, the Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports said that the organizations and institutions of the Republic of Srpska and BiH could apply for the Erasmus Plus, which would provide the funds for their projects.
Malesevic said that the Erasmus Plus was the EU Program for education, training, youth and sports for the 2014-2020 period and that a total of 14,7 billion euros was ensured for implementation of this program out of which 1,47 billion euros is indented for the projects designed for young people.
Moreover, Malesevic said that young people were becoming more and more interested in participation in these programs especially due to the fact that they receive the funds for the implementation of their projects and activities.
"The program supports youth work, non-formal education, education, training, international cooperation, volunteering and youth mobility", Malesevic said.
Furthermore, young people are provided with the possibility to travel, meet new persons, share their knowledge and experiences, and work on their own development through training, seminars, volunteer services and similar projects.
The first opportunity to apply will be presented on 4 February.
