Within the framework of the scientific and university cooperation strategy between the French Republic and BiH, the French Embassy in BiH is announcing a call for applications aimed at supporting the development or strengthening of partnerships between higher education institutions and research organisations in both countries.

The objectives of this call are to:

• provide initial funding for major European projects involving French partners, contributing to the integration of BiH into European research and education programmes (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Widening countries, etc.);

• support the organisation of academic or scientific events in BiH carried out in partnership with French institutions;

• promote the publication of joint scientific research articles.

Special attention will be given to projects addressing one of the horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ programme: inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, environmental protection and the fight against climate change, participation in democratic life, and strengthening the European dimension.

The call is divided into three parts:

Part One – Support for a Mission to France

This part co-finances missions to France for academic staff or researchers to implement research or educational projects (double degrees, Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, etc.) with French partners. It may also fund the participation of experts invited to conferences.

Part Two – Support for an Event in BiH

This part co-finances the organisation of an academic or scientific event in BiH (conference, symposium, workshop, summer school, etc.) in cooperation with at least one French partner.

Part Three – Support for Scientific Publication

This part co-finances the publication of scientific articles by local researchers who have collaborated with a French research institution or who are working on topics closely related to France and Francophonie.
