The Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of the Republic of Srpska, Prof. Draga Mastilović PhD, visited the Faculty of Technology in Zvornik of the University of Istočno Sarajevo today. On this occasion, a meeting was held with the Dean of the Faculty, Dragan Vujadinović, and the Vice-Deans, during which current issues relating to the Faculty's development, the enhancement of the teaching process, and infrastructure projects were discussed.

Minister Mastilović toured the premises of the Faculty of Technology in Zvornik and the Zvornik Student Centre, where the Director of the Student Centre, Goran Mitrović, briefed him on the Centre's work to date and its plans for further development. Following the visit, the Ministry expressed its full support for the work and development of both the Faculty of Technology in Zvornik and the Student Centre Zvornik, recognising them as important pillars of higher education and student welfare in the local community.

Dean Vujadinović also informed the Minister about the significant investments made by the Government of the Republic of Srpska over the past four years. Through the energy-efficiency project, more than 750,000 BAM has been invested in the infrastructure of the Faculty of Technology in Zvornik, demonstrating the Government's continuous institutional support for the development of this higher education institution.

One of the key outcomes of the visit was the confirmation that the reconstruction project for the premises jointly used by the Faculty and the Student Centre Zvornik will continue. This represents a concrete and important step towards improving working conditions at this higher education institution.
