Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić
attended today in Banja Luka the first European Economic and Security Summit organized by the The Gold Institute for International Strategy based in Washington.
Prime Minister Minić took part in the Summit during the closing session which presented key lessons and recommendations for policymaking and
the framework for continued transatlantic-Balkan dialogue.
"What happened to Republic of Srpska, it is important that the communication noises
we had with the former US administration have been overcome bearing in mind that together with the American people, together
with the Russian people, we have always been on the right side of
history", Minić said and added that it was important to say that Republic of Srpska has shown institutional capacity at this point.
"When we talk about economic security, it cannot
function without institutional capacity. Only institutions can pass relevant
acts that allow to be respected as any subject in any international
cooperation", the Prime Minister said.
Minić emphasized that Republic of Srpska fought for
elementary human values and the rule of law.
"Republic of Srpska is ready to be a serious
partner in every possible way. We are ready to be one of the factors in
international relations that will fight against terrorism and all criminal
acts," said Minić.
Some hundred participants from more than 20
countries took part in the Summit including prominent individuals from the
worlds of business, security, diplomacy and politics.
