The National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska elected on 18 January 2026, during its 30th special session, the new Government of the Republic of Srpska led by Prime Minister Savo Minić.
Prime Minister Minić and the members of the new Government took the oath of office.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska - Savo Minić
Born on September 5, 1974 in Šamac. Completed elementary school in Donja Dubica, Odžak Municipality, and high school in Šamac and Bijeljina. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Banja Luka in 1999, passed the bar exam before the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia in 2003. He passed the bar examination in 2004. Obtained master's degree in 2013 and PhD in law in 2018. Serb by nationality.
The members of the 19th term of the Government of the Republic of Srpska are:
1. Minister of Finance - Zora Vidović
Born in 1954 in Donji Srđevići, Municipality of Srbac. Completed elementary and high school in Srbac and the Faculty of Economics in 1978 in Belgrade. Serb by nationality.
2. Minister of the Interior - Željko Budimir
Born in 1977 in Sanski Most. Since 1995, lives in Banja Luka where graduated from the Faculty of Law. Obtained Master's Degree from the Faculty of Political Science, and his doctorate in political science from the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade. He was elected Assistant Professor at the University of Banja Luka. Serbian by nationality.
3. Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education - Draga Mastilović
Born in Gacko in 1974, where he completed primary and secondary school. Former member of the Army of Republic of Srpska. Graduated from the Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo in 2002. Obtained Master's Degree in 2007, and his doctorate in 2014 from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. Serbian by nationality.
4. Minister of Transport and Communications - Zoran Stevanović
Born in Trnovica near Zvornik in 1965. He completed primary school in Roćević and high school in Loznica. In 1989 graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Sarajevo and obtained the title of Engineer in Geodesy. Serb by nationality.
5. Minister of Energy and Mining - Petar Đokić
Born in 1961 in Brcko. He is a graduate economist by profession. Since 2011, he has been a minister in the Government of the Republic of Srpska. Serb by nationality.
6. Minister of Health and Social Welfare - Alen Šeranić
Born in 1977 in Banja Luka, where he completed primary school and high school. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Banja Luka. He completed specialization in epidemiology. Since 2018, he has been the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Srpska. Bosniak by nationality.
7. Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation - Zlatan Klokić
Born in 1983 in Prnjavor, where he completed primary and secondary school, while he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Banja Luka. At the end of December 2014, he was appointed Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation, and since 2018, he has held the position of Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation. Bosniak by nationality.
8. Minister of Education and Culture - Borivoje Golubović
Born in 1970 in Derventa. He attended primary school in Mostar and Derventa, and completed secondary education in Derventa. He studied in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Banja Luka, and obtained a degree in economics, and then a master's degree in economics. Croat by nationality.
9. Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology - Bojan Vipotnik
Born in 1982 in Banja Luka. Graduated from the University of Business Engineering and Management. Croat by nationality.
10. Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship - Radenko Bubić
Born in 1966 in Maslovare, Municipality of Kotor Varoš. Completed primary school in Maslovare and secondary school in Kotor Varoš. He graduated from the Faculty of Technology in Banja Luka in 1991 and obtained the title of Engineer of Technology. Serbian by nationality.
11. Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management - Anđelka Kuzmić
Born in 1985 in Doboj. Graduated in 2009 from the Faculty of Philology, University of Banja Luka, Department of Italian Language and Literature. Croat by nationality.
12. Minister of Trade and Tourism - Ned Puhovac
Born in 1959 in Brcko. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Brcko. Bosniak by nationality.
13. Minister of Justice - Goran Selak
Born in 1983 in Rijeka. Graduated from the University of Economics in Novi Sad. Holds PhD at the same university, at the Faculty of Law for Economics and Judiciary. Serb by nationality.
14. Minister of Labor and Veterans' and Disabled People's Protection - Radan Ostojić
Born in 1971 in Bijeljina, where he completed primary and secondary school. Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo. Serb by nationality.
15. Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government - Senka Jujić
Born in 1963 in Bosanska Dubica. Graduated from the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka. The Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government in the Government of Republic of Srpska since 2020. Bosniak by nationality.
16. Minister of Family, Youth and Sports - Irena Ignjatović
Born in 1983 in Doboj. Works as primary school teacher. Bosniak by nationality.
Earlier today, during its 29th special session, the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska adopted the resignation of Savo Minić. Prime Minister Minić said that it is unacceptable for the positive momentum of the Government to be interrupted by artificial crises and that he decided to resign as an act of responsibility in order to preserve political stability and continuity of power.
He stressed that this decision will further strengthen the Republic of Srpska, which will be more resistant to any kind of pressure, and added that this act does not change the course of the Government and that the priority is to strengthen Republika Srpska's ability to defend its competencies as stipulated by the Dayton Peace Agreement. He stressed that Republic of Srpska is focused on the future and wants development, stability and investments.
"There will be no financial cuts in Republic of Srpska and I would like to remind you that we have adopted a series of regulations that mean higher salaries, but also security for pensioners, veterans and young people. We have also launched strategic projects and we are continuing on this path," the Prime Minister Minić emphasized.
