Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska Savo Minić and the Minister of Labor, Veterans and Disabled People's Protection of Republic of Srpska Danijel Egić today handed over the keys
to 15 apartments to the families of fallen soldiers and invalids of war in Banja Luka.
"We will strive to complete the housing project
for the families of fallen soldiers and invalids of war in the coming period. For
us, you do not represent a social category, it is the obligation of the
Republic of Srpska to repay in this way to the members of your families who sacrificed their lives and thier health for the Republic of Srpska", Prime Minister Minić said.
Minister Egić stated that he was happy to see that the
members of the families of fallen soldiers and invalids of war have gotten the keys to their new apartments and added that the relevant ministry had done
everything to ensure that these projects were not delayed any longer and that certain procedures for the construction of housing units are simplified.
Ater this allocation, there
will be about 50 families from these categories in the city of Banja Luka whose hosing issues have not been taken care of and it is expected that it will be dealt with in the shortest term possible.
Regarding housing care through the allocation of
non-refundable funds in the city of Banja Luka, the Program for 2025 plans to
pay 72 beneficiaries in total amount of BAM 576,000.00. Once this payment is done, all persons from the Final List will be taken care of.
The Government of the Republic of Srpska has, so far in the city
of Banja Luka, provided BAM 20.7 million for a total of 943 beneficiaries for various forms of housing assistance (470 through allocation of housing units and 473 through allocation of
non-refundable funds).
