Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić officially
opened today ‘Jahorina Economic Forum' which has brought together many participants
from the country and the region.
In his opening remarks, Prime Minister Minić announced
that the Government would soon present a four-year national plan with unified
capital projects that will form the backbone of economic development of the
Republic of Srpska.
He invited the participants of the Forum to present
ideas and new initiatives that could improve domestic economy, emphasizing
that they were open to all good suggestions.
Speaking about economic indicators, the Prime Minister emphasized
that the year 2025 from the economy point of view was much better than original forecasts, but also
emphasized that in order to have better results this year, it was necessary to accelerate implementation of large public projects. He said that
investments worth five billion BAM have currently been contracted in Republic of Srpska. This year more intensive work on implementation of large public projects, such as construction of the main gas
pipeline that will provide numerous development opportunities.
