Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić
stated that the Insurance Agency of the Republic of Srpska was recording better
results year after year, and that it is evident that paying insurance premiums
is not an expense, but an investment in security.
Prime Minister Minić said that data on the number of
insured persons and paid premiums indicate that the awareness of people and
businessmen about the importance of insurance is growing significantly, which can ensure security from various events in society and the world, as
well as continuity of liquidity.
“The percentages of premiums paid to users in Republic of Srpska show that for more significant and better business there is no security
without insurance”, Prime Minister Minić satted to the press in Banja Luka,
before the start of the academy marking 20 years of the Republika Srpska
Insurance Agency.
He congratulated the Agency’s management on this
significant anniversary and said that the Government would continue to support
the work of the Agency, as well as insurance companies.
“Our goal is to have as wide an offer and as good a
range of insurance methods as possible, so that users can be as safe as
possible”, the Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska siad.
The Insurance Agency of the Republic of Srpska was
established by the Law on Insurance Companies in 2006 and has a regulatory and
supervisory function with the aim of protecting persons entitled to insurance
coverage and insurance benefits, as well as the insurance
industry.
