Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić met today in Banja Luka with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to BiH Kathrine Biering. The meeting focused on the matetrs related to improvement of bilateral cooperation and current political
and economic processes.
Prime Minister Minić expressed the commitment of the
Government of the Republic of Srpska to improve business
cooperation with Norway in all areas of common interest and pointed to the need to intensify those efforts in the coming period.
Speaking about the current political and economic
situation, the Prime Minister reiterated the position that
consistent adherence to the Dayton Peace Agreement was the only sustainable
framework for the functioning of BiH.
He particularly emphasized the importance of internal
dialogue and reaching an agreement on crucial matters between the Republic of Srpska and
the Federation of BiH, in order to ensure stability and further development
of BiH.
“The Republic of Srpska remains committed to the European
path and open to constructive cooperation with all countries of the European
Union and partner countries such as Norway”, Prime Minister Minić said.
Ms. Biering underlined sincere
desire of the Kingdom of Norway for further development and stability of
BiH and reiterated its readiness and maximum support to BiH on its path to European integration.
