Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić
attended today the session of the Presidency of the Organization of Army Officers
of the Army of Republic of Srpska.
Prime Minister Minić said that all organizations and
associations that emerged from the Patriotic War agreed to sign the protocol on drafting of the amendments to the Law on the Rights of Veterans in order to
determine key issues of importance for veteran groups as soon as possible.
Minić stated that this refers to the veteran's
allowance, the method of its calculation, the amount of the allowance for
veterans who have no income, which should be double the
veteran's allowance and other relevant matters.
"Our goal is to resolve such important matters
within the legal framework. This should be completed in February", Prime Minister Minić said after the session.
He added that the issues related to housing, the
status of veterans, and all others related to the importance of restoring the value of everything pertaining the memory culture, tradition, Serbian officers, fallen soldiers and
people in general, were also discussed.
"We want to show that we will be stronger and
more united day by day in terms of defense and love for the Republic of Srpska, which
does not mean that we are against anyone. We must proudly remember all who gave their lives for the Republic of Srpska and who participated in its
defense", Prime Minister Minić stronly emphasized.
