The management of the Russian company
"Zarubezhneft" organized today a presentation of its business plans
to the delegation of the Republic of Srpska led by Prime Minister Radovan
Višković in Moscow in its business premises. The plans include the activities
of this company in Republic of Srpska, primarily Oil Refineries in Brod and Modriča
and refer to further development of the sales network and continuation of their business in Republic of Srpska.
"Zarubezhneft" is planning further
development of compressed gas production and construction of a gas plant in
Brod as well as construction of a solar power plant in Modrica, for which a Memorandum of Cooperation was recently signed with the Government.
Prime Minister Višković pointed out that cooperation
with this company has been good and expressed satisfaction with the
announcement of the expansion of its business activities in Republic of Srpska.
"We saw firsthand what kind of company they are
and what their capacities are worldwide. They presented us with the way they see
the production and presented us with plans for future investments. I am glad
that the Republika Srpska is also in their business development plans",
Višković pointed out.
Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić pointed out
that the Republic of Srpska is determined to continue successful cooperating
with the company "Zarubezhneft" which will have maximum support from the
institutions of the Republic of Srpska for implementation of new projects.
He added that cooperation with
"Zarubezhneft" has always been at high level and should remain at that level.

Luka Petrović also attended the meeting.
Russian state owned company "Zarubezhneft" operates
in Republic of Srpska since 2007, when it privatized the oil industry companies
of the Republic of Srpska. They now operate under the trademark NESTRO which
includes the companies "Optima Group" Banja Luka, "Oil
Refinery" Brod, "Oil Refinery" Modriča and "Nestro
Petrol" Banja Luka.
