Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković met today with representatives of the Confederation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Srpska and informed them about the activities of the Government on the preparation of the Budget for 2021 and the Program of Economic Reforms.

Prime Minister Višković pointed out that according to the Budget proposal, it is planned to provide considerably more funds in 2021 for public investments and the Compensation Fund of the Republic of Srpska which should help the economy and the health sector.

The Prime Minister further stressed that savings were also planned in the budget for the next year, which mainly refer to the reduction of material costs of institutions.

Representatives of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Republic of Srpska presented their proposals and suggestions on the Budget and the Program of Economic Reforms for the next year.

During the meeting, the interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the level of understanding between the social partners as well as the joint commitment to continue activities to improve the status of workers in the Republic of Srpska.
