The startup project of the Science and Technology Park, unmanned systems/drones/, "RMUS Balkans", which goal is to
establish the production of modern technologies of this type in Republic of Srpska
was presented today in Banja Luka.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Savo Minić expressed
his satisfaction with the presentation emphasizing that the purpose of the
"Fly" and "Raven" drones patented in the USA was specific in
terms of range and flight range and that a market will be provided for them.
"I was also informed that the talks are being
finalized regarding the organized production of drones and the Government will
provide maximum assistance in this regard as will the business community. We
will not stop there, because local companies have the capacity for other
programs as well. We must keep up with the present times and keep up with modern
technologies", Minić said.
The presentation at "Kosmos" company in Banja
Luka was attended by the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska Željko
Budimir, Director of Police Siniša Kostrešević, Minister of Economy and
Entrepreneurship Radenko Bubić, Minister of Scientific and Technological
Development and Higher Education Draga Mastilović and the Rector of the University
of Banja Luka Dragoslav Gajanin.
The Director of the Science and Technology Park of the
Republika Srpska Nikola Dragović and the Director of the company
"Kosmos" from Banja Luka Dušan Vještica also attended the
presentation.
One of the main goals of the Science and Technology
Park of the Republic of Srpska is to support creation and development of
domestic innovative products and services, with a focus on building a domestic
knowledge-based economy, which competitiveness will be recognized globally.
The goal of the Science and Technology Park is to attract innovative companies,
develop a knowledge-based economy, support startups and spin-off companies,
facilitate cooperation between scientific organizations and industry,
contribute to digital transformation, promote entrepreneurship and innovation,
create employment opportunities and attract qualified experts.
